Little Portugal Toronto BIA is proud to support a yearlong program to honour Portuguese Pioneers who first immigrated to Canada on May 13, 1953.
For the first time ever, the Portuguese community will host the public and share an authentic culinary, cultural, and musical experience at doorstep of City Hall, on Nathan Phillips Square with a licensed 19+ area. The weekend celebrations will proudly include confirmed attendance from officials of the Government of Portugal, the Regional Government of the Azores, a delegation from the Government of Canada and more to be announced.
Celebrations kick off May 13 & 14 at Toronto City Hall.
